Please coordinate small group meetings amongst yourselves this week using this spreadsheet. Each GMT day has a separate tab. If you are the first person to sign up / host an hour, please add meeting info.
We'll allocate time at large group meetings for each small group to summarize their highlights.
Instructions for the small groups and example prompts to help foster discussion can be found here. If you have any prompts you'd like folks to consider, please add them today.
Use the discord for last-minute coordination and to announce the start of your small group.
We'll gather notes to share this Friday, April 4 so folks can review them before the April 7 and April 10 meetings.
If you can't host or make a small group meeting: please spend an hour this week writing notes of your own that we can share on Friday.
The spreadsheet of responses will be shared with everyone in April so we can go through exercises around how to group and compose everything into a prioritized set of requirements.
Some quick updates as we prepare for the April meetings:
Governance options: I've reached out to folks from ML Commons, Edge AI Foundation, OCP, and Khronos to arrange for them to speak at one of the April meetings regarding governance options. If there is another org you'd like us to consider, please let us know!
March prep meetings: The first of 6 informal prep meetings is today. You should have received calendar invites a few days ago if you are on the email group.
Attend if you can, but don't worry about it. We'll be coordinating additional outreach and working on how to make the April meetings productive.
Your availability: If you didn't get a chance yet, please enter your April availability using the when2meet links at the top of this document.
NICE 2025: Ram Kaundinya is organizing a NICE meetup if you happen to be there at the end of March. 9 folks have signed up already. Look for his email to this list for details - it might be in your spam folder like it was for me.
Neuromorphic Jobs: I'm working on a post summarizing neuromorphic jobs. I've added a few to this spreadsheet - please add more if you are aware of any! Especially academic ones.
Appologies to those who weren't able to join late and for technical difficulties that made discussion difficult. We'll have another meeting soon with a focus on community discussion.
Make sure to join the email group to be notified of upcoming discussion meetings:
